I bought two new Roku Streaming Stick+'s for Christmas. I gave one to a family member and the other I open two days ago. The remote continues to unpair with the Roku stick. Honestly I have only been able to get the remote paired to the stick 4 times out of 20 to 30 attempts. The times I do get it paired it only works for a few minutes. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps here: https://support.roku.com/article/208755708%c2%a0 I have tried the stick on two different TV's that already had working Roku Streaming Stick+'s to make sure it wasn't some out side interference. Please help!

I have a very similar problem. My remote worked perfectly for over a year. Within the last couple of weeks, I now have to re-pair my remote ever time I want to use it. The re-pairing process works OK and the remote will work for that session, but the next time I go to use the remote, it needs to be re-paried. How do I get it back to where it was?

How are you powering the Roku device? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?

The unit is plugged into a wall outlet. It is a USB cord; the USB end is plugged into the wall adapter, then the adapter is plugged into the wall outlet.
I rebooted my router since my first post, but noticed just now that the remote is no longer paired again.
In case it may help; here is more info. about my Roku:
Model 3931RW - Roku Express
Software version: 9.4.0 - build 4200-AE

I've been having a similar issue. My remote wasn't working (unit is only a month or 2 old), so I followed the steps to pair it again. It's now stuck in a loop where it's constantly trying to pair.
