The exact same thing is happening to us now!! Yes we've paired the remote! It has worked perfect up until yesterday. I completely follow what the other costumers complaint.. why is it so hard for customer service to follow and respond appropriately??? I see he just gave up.. but I'll ask again. Why is everything working except the power and volume working on this remote?!?
Wow.... I don't think the problem is on our end! This just started being a problem tonight. From the looks of other recent posts.... something has changed on ROKU's end! My power works, but not the volume.
I have the same problem on mine starting yesterday. Power and volume are both unresponsive, everything else works. It had been working fine for months-years and we have not changed anything. New batteries made no difference.
