Thanks for the update.
Please feel to provide the serial number/device ID that is physically printed on your device if you are unable to use your remote. Please provide that information in a PM along with your Roku account email address and a quick summary of the issue you are experiencing. I will be able to assist you further from there.
My roku is also making a high pitched noise. It does not respond after changing batteries, pressing the reset button, unplugging, and does not respond or control the tv menu. What should I do?
My problem is mentioned by others but I don’t see a solution. My remote stopped working on my TV and is making a high pitch sound. Please help me resolve this issue I even changed batteries
I see you replied but can’t see the message how can I access what you said in reply
Thanks for the post.
Please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number of the Roku device from Settings>System>About along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thank you for the note. I logged in and went to your profile but there is no PM button and I don't see how I can direct message you.
The remote does not control the TV at all (high pitched noise might be the cause) so I cannot navigate to Settings>System>About. The serial number of the device as labeled inside the battery case is: SKU3226000777
