Roku 4400 and IR remote

Is the Roku standard IR remote - rc68 (Also known as the Roku simple remote) compatible with the Roku 4400X ?  I am looking to replace the original remote that came with the Roku 4400X because this remote drains the batteries in less than 2 weeks.
