Roku 3 on now Samsung Q6 2019 tv and voice remote worked fine with wireless connection for 3 + years
I wanted to pull some wifi load off my access point, so i wired the roku 3 with ethernet and completed the setup.
it worked fine except no voice remote control. tried all voice remote, pair setup etc, ad nauseum.
I had to use a small ethernet switch and wire the tv as well as the Roku3 with ethernet. All is fine now, but why does it require 2 ethernet drops?
Only reason im asking is that i want to go wired on my bathroom samsung Q6 and am wondering whether i need to use small switch there as well..
