Remote control is going through batteries too fast

My remote is eating batteries. I am changing them every three weeks. We do use headphones with the remote

Re: Remote control is going through batteries too fast

Hi @plschrader,

Thanks for reaching out to the Roku community!

We'd like to take a closer look to see if there's anything else we can suggest to help. Can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device?

Keep us posted with the details.

Best regards,
Mary

Re: Remote control is going through batteries too fast

The remote's headphone amplifier turns on whenever you have anything plugged into the headphone jack, even if you aren't watching anything.  It can drain batteries pretty quickly, so be sure to only plug in your 'phones when actually using them.
