Enhanced remotes have a pairing button in the battery compartment and an LED indicator on the remote. ?If your remote doesn't have a pairing button/LED, this means you have a standard infrared (IR) remote that does not require pairing.
To pair an Enhanced Remote, remove the battery compartment cover, and insert the batteries. Once the remote is detected, the pairing process will begin:
