Hi, i am awaiting delivery of my roku ultra, i have purchased a 2018 model, my question is, can i buy the remote that comes with the 2019 roku ultra with 2 programmable buttons, and if so will it work with my 2018 roku ultra.

Sure, the second remote down on this page for $29,99, if you look there are the two extra keys, in their photo it isn't numbered:

Yes you can program it using the 2018 Ultra. I have the remote and I used my 43" Roku tv.
