As @renojim mentioned, you will need a remote to set up your device again and connect to your wireless network. What Roku model device do you have? With that information, we can provide you with appropriate replacement remote for your device.
I'm trying to give my old roku to someone and the original remote has been missing, so it was used with the downloaded app on the phone. Now, trying to set up with the new owner, don't an IP address, can't find/ won't connect to mine/owner phone either. I would appreciate the assistance.
I just moved and don’t have the actual remote. I have the app downloaded on new phone and when I search for my device it can’t find it to set up on my tv. I have done a reset on my express and now I have no way to control the options on my tv.
