My remote does not work hover half the time

I use the remote and it hardly works i have to press the buttons over 10 times to get some kind of response it worked good first few days and its been like this over a month already so sad cause this is my only remote and tv and i can hardly get it to work

@Npitts @Vcastillo2118 Thanks for the notes here! Here are a few things that you can try to help resolve remote issues: 

- If you have a wireless, point-anywhere remote, you may be experiencing wireless interference that is affecting your remote's functionality. Follow each of the steps listed here to help troubleshoot the issue: https://support.roku.com/article/208755708-how-do-i-resolve-problems-with-my-roku-enhanced-point-any...

(Make sure to follow the pro-tips section as well. Changing the wireless broadcast channel on your wireless router can often help. Your ISP or wireless router manufacturer can assist with this.) 

- If you are using a standard (IR) remote, you'll need to make sure your remote has a clear line of sight to the front of your Roku device. See more tips here: https://support.roku.com/article/360004813993-how-do-i-resolve-problems-with-my-roku-ir-infrared-rem...

I am having similar issue. It was intermittent but now it doesn't work at all. I have changed the battery as well and nothing.
