Thanks for the post.

Have you tried to pair your remote to your TV again to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing?

I am getting a Vizio 42 in. flat screen TV, 2014 model and I just bought it used. It will arrive tomorrow. I do not have it yet. Will I be able to use my Roku remote with volume control with this TV? If not, what can I do to adjust the TV so that the remote works with the TV? I have had this problem  before with other TV's in the past. It seems like some allow the remote and others do not.

Volume button on side of remote is for headphones privet listening ONLY.

volume used to work all the time, all of a sudden it stopped. I tried re-installing to TV.

Volume doesn't work on my iphone app either.  (remote app)

I have a 55” TCL 6-series connected to a creative stage soundbar via eARC. Initially the Roku tv remote controlled the soundbar volume but then it stopped. Went thru every menu w/ TCL support and they gave up. I disconnected and reconnected everything and it worked again briefly, then stopped working. If I try and turn the volume up or down I can see the speaker icon in the top right corner of the screen along with the current volume level, but the vol will not go up or down or mute. Any solutions? I’m about ready to return the TV and soundbar.
