I've tried everything to pair

I've reset the roku, I've changed the batteries, I've taken them out and put them back. The infrared light on my remote is working and when I put the remote next to the box, the box flashes and goes to the remote screen. But when I try to push a button on the remote, it just sends me back to the homescreen.

Re: I've tried everything to pair

IR remotes don't have to be paired - they either work or they don't.  It's not clear what you're trying to do.  If you're going to the pairing screen then you need a Wi-FI remote to pair with your Roku.  Why are you attempting to pair a remote?
