Dish tv remote arrows not working on onn roku tv

Newest dish remote when on the Home Screen of the roku you can’t use the arrows in the dish remote to navigate though the roku tv even when the dish remote is turned to tv any thoughts?

If the remote doesn't contain the codes for the TV  (or  has not been configured to used them) then it won't be able to control the TV.

If this is a Dish remote, sounds like this is a question for Dish.

Just got off the phone with Dish, trying to deal with this same issue, for my dish remote to operate Onn Roku volume..... After spinning in circles, no luck.... Have to use two remotes.... dang it..... Need help.....

For Onn Roku tv power, volume, and mute in the dish remote try codes under Admiral, Sansui or Emerson. It won't control the cursor pad. For that you would need tv code strictly geared for roku tv's. But Roku tv's use code set for the tv power and volume that have been around since the 1980's.
