Following instructions to pair the Tabletop device from box with wireless spkrs and a remote, I cannot get the correct settings menu on the tv, not as they describe it. And all attempts to connect failed. I did get it to speak SEARCHING FOR DEVICE. Is this Bluetube or what? No settings found on my tv for Bluetube devices. Any help to get this TABLETOP remote to Pair? Thanks, Bob
What exactly do you mean by pairing, and what are you attempting to "pair" with a Roku TV? A Roku TV is capable of pairing with a WiFi Direct remote (at least most can) and the Roku Soundbar and Remote Speakers. Nothing else can be paired with a Roku TV. You can of course connect an HDMI device that plays video and audio, such as a Blu Ray player or a Roku player (although not necessary with a Roku TV).
But Roku devices are not Bluetooth capable, except that the soundbar can pair with a phone or tablet for streaming audio over Bluetooth. You can't pair any headphones or other brand of Bluetooth speakers with any Roku device.
He has the Roku Touch tabletop remote that comes with Roku Wireless Speakers.
If you own Roku tv's it might show up on your upgrade page:
Cost $29.99 by itself.
The settings menu have changed since the wireless speakers were released, so follow these: Have the Touch ready with battery door off, one battery in, then:
settings> remote & devices> set up a new device> remote> but battery in and press the pairing key for 3 seconds and release, then in the menu press Continue, and wait
Thanks Tivo. I completely forgot they released that new remote. Not something on my radar personally. When he just called it a device it never registered in my mind.
