Using a Roku Ultra with a Samsung TV.
When I use Roku, the TV input automatically changes from my cable provider on ‘HDMI 1’ to Roku on ‘HDMI 4’ which is the input for the Roku Ultra on the TV.
When I want to return to my cable provider programming on ‘HDMI 1’ I have to use the Samsung remote to change the ‘input’ from ‘HDMI 4’ back to ‘HDMI 1’
MY QUESTION; Is there some way to program the Roku remote to change my TV inputs from one input to another? My remote has the A & B buttons on it, if that helps.
like what was said, the roku remote can't change HDMI.
if your asking how you can have another remote change to the roku hdmi port?
settings > system > control other devices > check 1-touch play.
Consumer Electronics Control (cec) enable on tv.
You can only change sources to the source you want (HDMI 1, or 2, etc) or Cable with the remote that controls those sources. The "one-touch" button referred to in a previous reply only changes TO Roku, not AWAY from Roku. If you have a Roku TV there are options to go to cable, antennae or other sources from the home screen but no dedicated button on the remote.
