Bluetooth Headset Connection to TV

Jump to solution

I am using the Roku Streaming Stick Plus on my Samsung TV and connecting Bluetooth earbuds. When the TV asks for confirmation of the connection, I can't determine how to accept the connection with the Roku remote and have to use the TV remote. Is there a way I can accept the connection with the Roku remote?

When you pair your Smart Stick+ remote to your tv it allows the remote to send line-of-sight IR commands to your tv.  The only tv commands in the remote's library are the ones associated with the TV buttons on the remote, i.e. power toggle, volume up/down, and mute toggle. For any other tv commands you'll need to use the TV remote.

  • Roku Streaming Stick +, 3810X, Ser YH0059427035, wifi - Samsung UN55ES6100
  • Roku Streaming Stick, 3600X, Ser 5S56D8240827, wifi - JVC EM37T
  • TCL Roku TV 43S425/C107X, Ser X000001R60KV, wifi
