Solving playback issues

The videos freezes when going into ads or leaving ads.  Need to go back and then enter the movie again. The sound continues during the freeze- whether ad or movie.  When I get back to the movie the captions are off-  as a matter of fact the captions are usually from a previous episode.  ONLY happens with roku- none of the other channels.  Wierd- huh.   does  not seem to be the remote, but roku.

Does the issue only occur on specific content or regardless of the movie/series you access within The Roku Channel? If you haven't tried yet, you can remove the affected channel and then re-install it. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
