YouTube app not working

Running a 3900x roku express

I’ve read all other related posts, and they have not helped.

i have:

 checked for updates

Rebooted system

uninstalled and re installed YouTube app

uninstalled YouTube app, then restarted system, then reinstalled YouTube app

glared with malicious intent at my tv.

I also removed about half the installed apps

 here is what happens:

i receive an error every time I try to launch the app:

” can’t run channel

YouTube could not be run because there is not enough space. Please remove one or more of your intended channels and try again. To remove a channel, focus the channel, press * and then select Remove channel “

i see others have had this issue, but as seen above by what I’ve done, none of those solutions helped

Re: YouTube and all other channels are not working.app not working

Hi ,
Today when i try to run youtube or any other channel on my roku model 3810x i get the error msg
Cant run channel because there is not enough space.
I deleted almost all the channels and youtube is the only left channel and i am still getting the same issue/ error message.
I already reset the sytem twice and it didn't solve the issue.

Re: YouTube app not working

I’m having the same issue now. Tried deleting the app and restarting Roku, then adding the app, but it didn’t work. Sometimes I get the no space error message, and other times a no network connection message. YouTube worked yesterday and I haven’t added any other apps.

You dont mention your model # or firmware version (these are important).

Try:

1)  Network connection reset (Settings/System/Advanced system settings)

2) Changing the theme to the Roku default (Settings/Theme/Restore default theme)

3) Changing the screensaver to a Roku clock (Settings/Theme/Screensavers)

4) Checking for updates (Settings/System/System update/Check now)

Re: YouTube app not working

It’s a Roku Express (2018). I’m not sure how to tell the firmware version. I’ll try these and see if they help.
