YouTube Stops Playing

Jump to solution

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem; but whenever I have to go to work or leave for a while, I always use the YouTube app on my Roku stick to play some relaxing videos for my cat. (The videos themselves are usually about eight to ten hours long.) But ever since some time ago, whenever I play such videos, it stops playing after some time, leaving a blank screen. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Not "server" but "saver." "Bandwidth Saver" is a feature that's often enabled on Roku devices. Turn that off.

Have you checked to see if Bandwidth Saver is enabled? That will stop videos after around four hours if there is no interaction from the remote. Turn that off.
