If I watch on my Roku in my bedroom in the morning, and then try to use my Roku in the living room the same night I get a message saying I can't because there are too many users on my device. There is only one user - moi.
Some channels restrict how many simultaneous streams are permitted. What channel are you getting this message on?
Are you stopping the stream on the first player, or just turning the TV off? You must stop the stream yourself, turning the TV off doesn't stop it.
Thanks. I am getting the message on Netflix. Ok, I will make sure I stop the streaming , not just turn the tv off. Hope I know how to do that ..... not just pause it ..... but turn the stream off..... I will experiment.

Just make it a habit to return to the Roku home page when done viewing. And as protection against those times when you forget, you can turn on Bandwidth saver in the Settings > Network menu.
