My Roku tv is shuttering randomly with some white lines horizontally across the screen towards the top and many of these lines at the bottom. After it shutters for a few seconds, it goes back to normal and then will shutter again. Sometimes it goes for hours without shuttering while other times it just goes concurrently without stopping.
It does this on the home screen, Netflix, HDMI output, everywhere. I've tried a factory reset and updated the software to the latest edition with no success or even idea what may be causing the problem. Thoughts?
You can see the glitch go in and out in this video: https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared/cH-ku24nQZOkiKpYb53SYg.N5JSAONf6oUKLws4hQpZcl
Any ideas?
I've contacted TCL support and will post any updates I get from them on this matter.
I have the exact same issue. Can't find any info on whether to replace the power supply board, main board, or TCON board. They are cheap on ebay so may just buy all 3 and see which one fixes it.
Yeah, they ended up sending a refurbished replacement since it was under warranty.
