Hi,
Just installed a new Roku Premier. After its first power up, it works fine. If I turn off the TV and then turn the TV on again, the Roku screen flickers and full of static. If I pull the power out of the Roku and plug it back in, the box reboots and the screen is fine again. How do I fix this so I don't have to reboot Roku everytime I turn on the TV?
Thanks,
Bart
@Bart1 Thanks for the note. There are a few things you can do to help resolve these types of issues:
1. Make sure you are using the included wall power adapter to power your device. Some USB ports don't offer enough voltage to consistently power your device, and may cause unexpected behaviors.
2. Replace the HDMI cable you are using to connect your device to your TV.
3. Connect your device to a different HDMI port on your TV.
Give those steps a try and let us know if you need further help from there!
Thanks,
Tanner
I have the exact same issue.
I am using all power and HDMI cables and have tried different power outlets, and every HDMI port on my TV.
Did this ever get resolved?
Sorry, meant to say that I'm using all cables that came with my #Roku Premiere
