Getting this same issue on my Toshiba 55inch TV.
Help is appreciated
Thanks in advance
Do you see the Roku boot screen on initial power up (the bouncing Roku logo)? Or does nothing ever appear? Have you tried a different HDMI port on the TV? Do you have a different TV to try it on? If you've tried all of this and it still doesn't give you the home page, then it sounds defective and I would exchange it for another device.
I am getting the same issue on my 38 inch Toshiba with my Roku stick 3800x. The Toshiba recognizes that a Roku is connected to the HDMI input but moments later a 'no input' message appears.
No bouncing Roku logo .
The stick has worked on 3 other TVs but not the Toshiba.
All advice will be appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.
-Have you tried plugging in your device into another HDMI port on the TV?
-Are you using the USB port to power the device or are you using the supplied power adapter?
Please keep us posted.
@Malph93 Thanks for the note.
- To confirm, have you also swapped out the HDMI cable in use to see if this clears up the issue?
- What is the specific model of Toshiba TV that you own?
- Have you tried plugging the device into a different TV to see if it works normally?
Thanks for that info.
To test further, try plugging your device into another TV. Go to Settings>Display type and manually select 720P. Then, plug the device back into your Toshiba TV and see if you are able to get display output.
As a last troubleshooting step, we'd also recommend trying a factory reset of your Streaming Stick.
