Roku Express stopped working and started complaining about low power even rhiught it is not plugged into the usb power. Performed hard reset and not the software update fails error code 003. Cannot get past this screen to reset from the menu. It is now basically useless. Very frustrating.
It could be that the device is bad. It could be that the power supply is bad.
Try plugging into the USB on your TV. If it doesn't work there, then I'd suggest replacing the device. If it's under warranty, get your receipts and begin the warranty replacement process.

I have the same problem. Stick is powered via supplied USB cable and adaptor. Just suddenly won't work claiming that there is not enough power to power it. Only been in use about 6 months.

Please reply here with the serial number of the affected Roku stick. It can be found by either navigating to Settings > System > About or at the back of the device.
