Roku media player file errors

I have video files on an external hard drive. The Roku Media Player lists files that I have deleted from the hard drive. On Windows 10 these files don't exist but on the RMP they do. It seems that the Media Player has cached these file entries. Any ideas on how to eliminate them?

Try rebooting your Roku:  Settings->System->System restart.

Re: Roku media player file errors

The reboot did not work. What I ended up doing was first removing the Roku Media Player. Then I turned off the external hard drive and re-added the RMP channel. Then I turned on the hard drive. That seems to have worked.
