Roku Ultra audio issues

I just bought and setup a new Roku Ultra and while watching any channel (YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix...), the audio will drop out for a couple seconds and then come back.  If I rewind the video and play it back the audio is there.  It happens randomly.  Sometimes 3 times in 10 minutes, sometimes once an hour.  I've seen others report this and it looks like updates have been released for specific models.  I'm using:

Model:  4660X - Roku Ultra
Software Version - 8.1.0 build 4145-46
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR656 (latest firmware)
TV: Samsung UN65K8000

I can use my PS3, PS4 or Bluray Player to stream the same content through the same setup with no issues.  I have restarted the unit many times choosing all different audio options, disconnected and reconnected the HDMI cable, tried using different cables that work with other devices.
