Roku TV receiving remote input but not visually responding to input.

Screen is frozen and visually unresponsive to remote input.
However, the TV is playing the audio cue as though it is receiving the remote input despite being frozen with no visual response. Unplugging to reset has not helped. Any recommendations?

Re: Roku TV receiving remote input but not visually responding to input.

What brand is it? Model number?

Somehow there is a way a button to restart or reset it.

Re: Roku TV receiving remote input but not visually responding to input.

Simple suggestions to start off with... (assuming using Roku remote your TV came supplied with)

1. Install the official Roku Mobile App on your mobile device from the App Store or Play Store.  (Then using the Remote feature from within the App, do a System Restart.  See if you can navigate menus. If so, then narrowing down more to a remote issue.

SETTINGS...SYSTEM....POWER....SYSTEM RESTART

2. Replace the batteries. (sometimes even brand new batteries  supplied with the remote are already weak/DOA.)  A weak remote will still make the audible beeps/chirps through the TVS speakers like you are hearing.

See if that helps.
