Roku Streaming Stick No Longer Working

Roku stick suddenly stopped working. The white light no longer comes on when connected to power source. Input source for this device no longer appears in TV source list. Other Roku stick from another TV works perfectly on this TV. Streaming Stick is only two years old. Is this considered a normal lifespan?           Model: 3800X Serial No: YFOODM491989.  Tried to email customer support several times, but each time told there was an problem with submission and to try later. Never said what problem was and still getting same message now. Please help.

Re: Roku Streaming Stick No Longer Working

@Tomoso

Thanks for the post.

If the light is not showing on your Roku device, this would mean that the device is not getting power. Have you tried replacing the power cable that you are using to power the Roku device?

If you need a replacement cable, you can purchase one on our Products page here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/streaming-stick

Please keep us posted.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: Roku Streaming Stick No Longer Working

Tried changing out power cord from other Roku Stick and still no power light. Also used existing power cord with other Roku stick and it works perfectly. Beginning to believe that streaming stick itself has failed after just 2 years.

Re: Roku Streaming Stick No Longer Working

I have the exact same Roku stick 3800+ and problem (not working and see no light on stick) and had stick just slightly longer than you. What did you end up doing?

Re: Roku Streaming Stick No Longer Working

Hi @lauriesy

Thanks for the post.

We do not have enough details from your original message to make an effective suggestion. Could you tell us more about your concern? How are you powering your Roku device? Is it connected to the USB port of the TV or to a wall outlet?

With more information, we can assist you further.

All the best,
Kariza
