232 degrees?
Normal?
Uh... no (unless you live on Mercury/Venus/Georgia in August).

What you have there is a hockey puck hot enough to end the game when the ice melts.
RMA or Out The Window (into a bucket of water - Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires!).
Select the one that is most applicable in your situation.

Thanks I may try to RMA it next month, waiting for the new Fire Cube since it has Dolby Vision and ethernet.
I unplugged it for a couple of hours, plugged it back in and it's at 147 degrees?

Does it feel warm/hot to the touch? Maybe it's incorrectly reading the temp.
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

Like you I was wondering how accurate it's measurement is.
6 months old, never got a temp warning until a few days ago so I never checked it before.
After it was unplugged for 2 hours it was slightly warm.

This is it after 10 minutes of idling, feels like a frying pan. Sure seems to be working hard for just idling on the secret menu.

Yes, if it's hard to keep your hand on it, definitely RMA it.
