[Resolved] Optical audio issues - Replace Cable

I purchased a TCL 55 4K 4 series tv last Friday. It has been great however I’m having an issue with my sound bar. My Sony sound bar, even when set on the highest volume setting, is incredibly low. When I connect my phone via Bluetooth it goes much louder than when connected to my tv. My tv is connected to the sound bar by optical because it does not have an hdmi port. I’m to the point where I want to buy a new sound bar because it’s frustrating. Any help would be great.

I would double-check the optical cable.  I had this issue in the past and it turned out to be a bad cable.  Good luck.  Hope this helps.

I think this is the issue. One of the lights at the end were not lit up when the other side was connected.. thanks!
