I've had my Roku premiere a little over a year. It has started displaying the overheating message. I have it setting on top of a cabinet (not inside) out in the open. We even have a fan blowing on it now and it still overheats. Worried as the troubleshooting says, if it keeps happening to not use the device. I had this happen with a streaming stick which died. I was hoping the premiere (being a larger device) would manage heat better? Wondering if I should replace with an Ultra as that is even bigger form factor and might manage heat better? I just ordered the extender to see if that helps the premiere but I don't see how it will as the device has always been out in the open. Not sure where else I can move it to that would be any cooler.
