RESOLVED - Some channels are currently not accessible

******RESOLVED: We believe this issue is now resolved. Please start a new thread if you are experiencing any channel access issues.

Due to a global technical certificate expiration, select streaming channels on the Roku platform that rely on this certificate chain may not be working as expected. Please install a manual software update from Roku now. To update your software:

  1. On your Roku player go to Settings
  2. Select System
  3. Select System Update
  4. Select Check Now
View this support page for more help to update your software manually. (FAQ)
This update applies to all current-generation Roku players, Roku TVs and Roku Smart Soundbar. We are sorry for any disruption this may cause. We know TV time is important especially while we are all at home. Thank you.

Happy Streaming!

Re: ALERT - Some channels are currently not accessible

I checked for updates and am on 9.3.0 build 4170 which is says is the latest.

What version will be the one with the updates which correct the problem?

I believe that's the version that is required. You should be fine.

Re: ALERT - Some channels are currently not accessible

The problem with that is I had already updated to 9.3.0 build 4170.

I restarted it and it made no difference unfortunately.

I uninstalled the app channel and re-installed it.

Still the same fault.

Is there one particular channel that is an issue, or are there multiple channels not working? The Roku moderators will need to know what the channels are.

Re: ALERT - Some channels are currently not accessible

I just tried a few - Youtube, Amazon Prime and ITV Hub which were all fine.

It's just Likve KH which is failing.

I had already reported the problem to them, they showed a link to this which is how I got to be posting here. They also said they were working on the issue.

Interestingly it worked on my Motorola G6 phone for a short while on Sunday then failed but after a removal and re-install that worked.

Re: ALERT - Some channels are currently not accessible

Prime Video (amazon) will not work, even though I have had Prime Video for approx 3 years.  I don't understand.

I just tried Prime Video on my Roku TV and it played fine. I have 9.3.0 build 4170 on it. Make sure you've done a manual update on your Roku.
