Solving playback issues

In every episode of a program, during an ad, the system returns back to the main menu.  Then I have to re-enter the Roku Channel and resume where I left off.  The commercial all have to run before the program continues.  I have a TCL/Roku TV and this always occurs in the Roku Channel.

Have you tried removing and reinstalling The Roku Channel?

 Remove/reinstall procedure:

1. Highlight channel on home screen.
2. Press * key on the Roku remote and choose Remove channel option.This will remove the channel from ALL Rokus linked to this Roku account.
3. IMPORTANT- IF YOU SKIP THIS STEP YOU MAY NOT GET A CLEAN RE-INSTALL:
   Restart the Roku to clear its memory. Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you'll find the System restart option under either Settings > System > Power or under Settings > System. Repeat on any additional Rokus linked to this Roku account.
4. Reinstall the channel to your Roku account via the Roku Home page Streaming Channels menu option. This will install the channel on all Rokus linked to this Roku account.
   
   Notes:
   • The channel will be added to the END of each Roku's channel grid.
   • The Roku on which you performed the reinstall should get the installation immediately.  On other Rokus linked to this Roku account you may need to force an update to get immediate installation via Settings > System > System update.  Otherwise, it should be installed when each Roku does its daily check for updates.
   • If channel requires a login, you may need to log in anew.

Same issue but only on the Roku channel and only with the geico soccer Spanish version commercial, every time it comes on it freezes at the end but the show will continue with just sound, I have to stop and resume the show every time that commercial plays

I read your post. 

I have an ONN TV w/ Roku built-in. Regular cable TV works fine. However, when I use any of the Roku programs they will begin playing and after about a minute they will stop playing. Then the screen returns to home screen.

All other tv's in home are fine. An interesting discovery, I started watching my show on another TV. I decided to go back to the original TV. When I brought up the same show on it, the show started instantly right where I had stopped watching on the other TV. I was able to watch TV fine the rest of the evening. This morning it's back to screwing up again.

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc....? Thank you.
