Picture quality issues using a Roku Ultra on a newer Samsung Smart TV

I purchased a Roku Ultra to connect to my Samsung Smart TV. The picture quality going through Roku sucks.  Colors muddy, poor contrast and saturation, etc. I've tried all settings on the TV to adjust color but nothing works. I can't find any adjustments through Roku to improve quality. Are there any hidden menus I'm not seeing to help the situation? Instead, I'm back to using the Smart TV that doesn't offer all the apps I'm looking for since cutting the cord.

Did you get a resolution? I also checked I have the latest version (no updates available).

Re: Picture quality issues using a New Roku Ultra on a 2017 Sony Smart TV

I have TCL 2021 65 inch ROKU tv and it is great. But bought a new Roku Ultra to go through my 2017 Sony smart tv with android system. When I run through the direct Android, colors and brightness is off the wall...great...but once I put it through HDMI 2 which I also upgraded the cable to see if that would help (Did Not) and run it it through my new Ultra box, colors are very dull. All channels are that way. I read up on all the possible solutions, but nothing improves it! Can someone help me or give me settings to check? Someone else said the simple Roku Stick works better by far...how is that possible, and should I try it?
