Onn. Roku TV won’t turn on. Red light not on either.

I received the 50” 4 k UHD TV less then 6 hours ago.  When I had finished setting it up I went to Netflix to check the picture and sound quality by playing a movie.  Then screen then made a sound like a Christmas ornament being crushed, which I thought it was because I was watching the grinch, and then went black.  Now it won’t turn back on and the red light at the bottom doesn’t work either.

Was this ever resolved?  I have a 70 inch doing same thing.

@Gbear1986, contact the TV manufacturer.  Roku doesn’t manufacture the RokuTV sets themselves; instead it’s simply an integrated RokuOS system installed on a TV by a licensed brand.

I’m into videotapes and old electronics stuff, including extenders, converters and analog 4:3 TV sets (which are obsolete these days), and Miss Bianca is my favorite character in Disney’s The Rescuers (1977) and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under (1990). I am not a Roku employee, only a user like you. ~ Jordan

Hi @Emm095,

Thanks for reaching out to the Roku community!

Have you tried contacting the TV manufacturer to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
