I tried changing the sound settings to no avail. It is this newer model that seems faulty. It is updated.
We have the same issue with our Roku Express we just purchased. When autoplay moves on to the next episode, there is no sound; we can restart the episode and sound will then work.
I am having this same issue with Roku Express using Netflix. HBO and Prime don't seem to have the same problem. It's flipping annoying to have to pause and exit out and then go back in just to get audio. How do we fix this??
