Overheating roku stick   they offered to send me an extension to cool the stick down.

My TV is well exposed to fresh air.  The extension they offered is out of stock for a month!!

Is it actually overheating, i.e. there's a warning on screen, or are you referring to how warm it feels? The Stick models do run very warm, but unless you get the warning there's no issue. 

If you don't want to wait for the free cable to be available, Amazon has a bunch for under $9.
