So I've paid for my year subscription. I've turned off all my bandwidth saver and everything I can. But about 5 to 7 hours into an 8 video for SLEEP it asks me if I'm still there. Why would you make an 8 hour video for sleep just to interuppt the sound by stopping it to ask if they are still there. OBVIOUSLY IM STILL USING IT. How dumb of a creator can you be to put that on an 8 hour video for sleep?
Please be advised that some streaming channels employ their own mechanism to cease data usage after a specific period of inactivity. These features will not be affected when you disable Bandwidth Saver on your Roku.
We would recommend reaching out to the channel developer directly to see if they have any additional settings or options that may allow the functionality you are looking for.
To the moderator. Love this app and have paid through January 2022. For some reason will not load for the last 2 days. I rebooted Roku, cancelled sacred sounds, removed the app and reloaded however, I still get the unfortunate 'loading symbol'. Is this a system outage, for SS as all other Roku channels work fine. If you have any other suggestions please advise. Cindy
Happened to me too a few days ago and I paid full price for this app! I have re-installed and there is no update available. The app loads but any channel I pick just says loading. I paid the lifetime $24 price and it no-longer works.
I am also having this issue since yesterday. My husband and I listen to the storm sounds for sleep and all we get is the infinite loading screen. We've subscribed for months. Now we can't even use it last night or tonight.
Just do what I did make a white noise playlist on the youtube app and add whatever sounds you like. So far all the long videos only have a ad at the beginning so you dont have to worry about ads playing in the middle of the video
Another option if you have a roku tv is you can either look for any white noise mp3’s free or purchased or use a windows program to convert youtube white noise videos to mp3. Place your white noise mp3’s on a usb stick and play them using roku tv’s media player app through your tv’s usb port. I prefer this method as you can set a screensaver that turns off your tv screen but keeps the speakers on
Have had the Sacred Sounds channel now for over 6 mos. with no problems. Today, 06/19/2021 it will not load up any of the selections I choose. Is anyone else having this problem and there is no way to contact SunMedia about this problem that I can find? I'm using a Roku Streaming Stick+
Also having problems with the Shout Factory TV cannel. Instead of loading a selection it goes back to the Roku Home page.
Does the issue only occur on Sacred sound or all channels on your Roku device?
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote, and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
