My Roku 3800 Stick with voice remote -- started cutting out audio May 6, 2020

I bought my Roku 3800 Stick with voice remote in October of 2019.  The source said it was the "new one". It set up without a hitch and our family loves it...until May 6th of 2020.  The sound/audio started cutting out and glitching.  Sometimes there are 10 minutes of video with no sound, then it comes back for a minute or two before cutting out again.  Funny thing: Last software update?  You guessed it!  May 5, 2020.  ROKU has, and apparently continues to, auto-obsolete their devices by installing faulty software. Apparently, if your device is over 6 months old, they will load it up until it fails...a good way to go out of business.

Roku is rolling our version 9.3 of its operating system. It hasn't hit all units yet, seems to be somewhat random.

We went through quite a few growing pains when 9.2 came out but after a few iterations they pretty well had the bugs worked out. I expect this one will go the same.
