Yes, that is correct. The app is the responsibility of MLB. And MLB inadvertently or intentionally removed features that were in the previous version of the MLB app on Roku.
MLB Support finally admitted that they left the "Box Score" feature out of the new Roku App. :-(
They did indicate that they might be willing to restore it IF there is enough interest in the subject.
If, like me, you see this as essential then please call their support line at 866.800.1275 between noon and midnight. The best time is close to noon because most of the support staff is there to support immediate stuff, like log ins, etc. Explain that you are calling about this feature being left out of the new MLB App on Roku and would really like to have it added back in ASAP
