I have a Samsung 55in 4k TV model number: UN55KU6290FXZA
I just picked up a Roku Ultra with Enhanced remote from Best Buy.
When I try to set Display settings I get not compatible with HDCP 2.2
My HDMI cables are older and I think only support 1.4, my TV ports all support 2.2.
So my question is, because of damn copy right protections, do I have to buy new HDMI cables and rewire? It's a huge pain because I have cable management installed through the wall etc. and this is a huge inconvenience.
I use what appear to be the same cables and my Ultra reported 4K/60 HDR without a problem. have you enabled UHD Color on the TV in the Samsung's menu? If you haven't, and it was off by default in my Samsung, then you might get that error.
Dan Nvidia Shield, Roku Stick (3600), Ultra (4640), Premiere (3920), Insignia 720p Roku TV, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Windows 10 Pro x64 running Serviio and Plex on a wired Gigabit network.
