Sometimes when I switch the TV input to view my Roku I see the Roku home screen duplicated side by side, out of proportion, and with heavy green tinting (as if it's lost other colors). System restart fixes the problem. Have no idea if this is my TV or the Roku. How can I start troubleshooting this?

My Roku Express just started doing the same thing. I can be watching the TV all day, but once it goes into sleep mode or is switched off. I tried to research the issue or get support from the Roku page with no avail. Did you resolved the issue? Do you have any suggestions?

I searched the forum for answers regarding the green screen which appears to be a common issues. Also I cannot find any thread or post titled When reporting issues
I have all default settings. Nothing had changed since the unit was installed.
Only one HDMI input on TV. Bought HDMI to component video converter. Roku Express HD HDMI input to converter produces side by side duplicate images. Direct TV HDMI input to converter produces proper single image. Why does Roku input do this? Can't find any settings that change this double image on Roku settings.
Roku auto detect said both 1080p and 720p were acceptable with my old Samsung HDTV usinf the HDMI to component video converter.
When I forced the input to 720p, the double image disappeared and the system with the HDMI to component video works perfectly. I believe the converter prevents the Roku auto detect from accessing the TV and it is "fooled" into using the higher resolution setting which generates the double side by side image.
I have the same problem using a Roku Soundbar (purchased 6/2020) and a Sony Android TV.
Happens intermittently on start-up. Can be recovered by re-detecting the display in settings.
Tried different resolution setting as well as Display Detect on Roku setup.
Tried HDMI (w/optical for sound) and HDMI/ARC. Same issue on both.
Found multiple reports of this problem but no solutions.
Anyone have idea?
Same issue here - started today with my 2016 Sharp 4K TV. Changed display setting to 1080p to fix for now... seems like the 4K connection is pretty flakey
