Dish TV, DVR, TV apps such as Disney+ are no longer coming through the Soundbar

My sound bar only works through Roku. Dish TV, DVR, TV apps such as Disney+ are no longer coming through the sound bar.  I reset everything, checked sound settings and still can’t get the TV sound coming through the sound bar unless I’m using Roku.  Any suggestions on what may be the issue? Thanks

It needs to be either connected to hdmi-arc input, or combination of regular hdmi and optical to have the audio from other devices connected to your tv come through the roku soundbar. Do you have that? Or is it just attached to regular hdmi input?

I have the hdmi-arc.  I also tried adding the optical.  Neither worked.  I made sure my anynet+ hdmi-CEC is enabled.

I rebooted my TV and that corrected the issue.  Apparently the TV wasn’t recognizing the hdmi-arc and the reboot fixed it.

I've tried every setting. No connection to cable tv (uverse) Steaming works great. I want to love this, but if I can't get other inputs to work it's just useless. Unless I get some resolution here, it will be going back.
