Device constantly crashes

Hello I am having the issue there are multiple channels crashing and it is going back to the Roku home screen. I tried to follow the links that are posted for updating but that just takes me to another website screen with nothing appearing to support the issue. This has been going on for months and it is quite ridiculous. I am sick of losing out on paid subscriptions because of this issue. As are many other people.

software version 10.0.0 Build 4209-94

Again this is happening on multiple channels and has been happening for several months. I would greatly appreciate a fixed to this I have lost out on being able to view many paid subscriptions.

i had that issue i ordered a remote from amazon that works on roku ultra lt,  and other rokus but not the stick. since i bought the roku from amazon to begin with, it was $6.95, it works good but it doesnt have all the perks, no voice search, no ear plugs, and no turn on and off tv or sound to turn up or down. just a plain remote. it does the job, and doesnt return to home, but it doesnt have any perks. with it.  i truly dont understand why roku cant update the remote that came with it to keep it from returning to home.

Thanks for the post.

Have tried removing the channels, restarting your TV, then adding the channels back again to see if that resolves the issue?

Find having the same issue with my Roku stream bar. I have tried multiple channels, and in every case including the Roku media player, the device freezes and then does a complete reboot.

I have updated the software and checked again for an update but there is nothing pending.

 

I have tried uninstalling some of the offending apps/channels and reinstalling and that has not solved the problem.

I'm having the same issues. It won't play the movies in the livingroom just the bedroom.  But it keeps crashing. Its been doing it for months now. I'm tired of paying for something I cant even enjoy watching.

No there’s been no solution there never is a solution only temporary fixes. I’ve tried everything that’s been mentioned by everybody, and this is nothing new. I’ve posted about this before. I just figured I’d stop in and check for any updates, but apparently there are none. There is still the same old try this fix, try that fix thing going on. What the people need is a solution not a fix. I’m quite sure when people go to purchase a new TV they don’t plan on installing uninstalling and reinstalling channels all the time before they watch a show or a movie. I don’t understand how this is become acceptable to anybody.  I see a class action in the future !
