Cannot select a channel or settings - screen keeps scrolling!

I can't get the scrolling to stop on the Roku home screen, so I cannot get to Settings or any channels.

I don't know how to even begin to troubleshoot this problem.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

The only time I've ever experienced this, several months ago, all it needed was to restart the Roku. Settings > System > System restart,  or if you can't get enough control to do that, just pull the power cord for a few seconds.
