Black screen on Ultra reboot

TV is set to HDMI 1 and thats fine. The top of the screen says Roku HDMI 1 so the TV knows a Roku is connected, but the screen is black and no sound.   Rebooted the Roku Ultra for over a minute multiple times (yes, the power indicator is on).  Replaced HDMI cable.  Nothing.  Any ideas?   It’s only a couple years old.  #rokuultra #blackscreen

I may have found the issue.  Faulty surge protector.  Maybe

That display may not necessarily mean the tv senses a Roku is connected to HDMI 1.  If you've named HDMI 1 as "Roku" in the tv's configuration, it may just show the same thing whether there is a Roku connected or not.
