Apple+ app audio no longer works on Roku Express

All of a sudden, the audio on the apple+ app has stopped working, it is now just white noise.  I have tried multiple combinations of resetting and deleting the app, logging in and out, and rebooting, all with no luck.  It had been working fine for weeks.  It also continues to work fine on our older Roku 3.  This is really frustrating, does anyone have any idea why this would happen and what we can do about it?

Did you remove the Apple TV app, RESTART (**must do this step here**), then reinstall the Apple TV app?

If you did, then did your Express recently update to 9.4.0? (check Settings/System/About).

You may be able to revert to 9.3.0 (Home 5x, FF 3x, RW 2x, choose "update software", select 9.3.0).
