Just bought the TCLI 8 series 65Q825 and surprised to find out that Amazon Prime Video native app does not render 4K & HDR on this TV. Will be returning as Netflix/AMZ are my primary streaming services. The TV looks good but you can't have your flagship TV not work with a leading service like this. TCL support says they are aware of the issue but is a software/ROKU problem.

Sorry read that they told you they are aware of the issue. Did they say they are going to fix it. What number did you call for support?
Can anyone comment on the proper number to call? I need a date or I'll be returning my TCL / Roku as well. Unacceptable, it's a stated feature so by not offering it is illegal. My Amazon Prime Video looks like 720p. Looks incredibly fluid in full HDR on YouTube and every other app.
