connection to network

hi,
Having trouble with the sound on my Roku 3. To troubleshoot I had an old Roku 2. I am connected by a wired connection. I unplugged the 3 and plugged the 2. It used to be connected to this network but now it can't find the network. I am plugged into a ethernet switch.

Do I have to reset my router to get it to work? https://19216811.dev/192-168-2-1/
Can you help me?

Re: connection to network

If the old Roku has been sitting around for a while it could be a dirty Ethernet connector.  Do you see lights flashing on the back when you connect the Ethernet cable?  Rebooting your router probably wouldn't hurt.
