connected to network - both wireless and interned checked green but then does nothing at all

brand new roku express. 

connected to my wireless network and both wireless connection and internet connection are checked green but then it does absolutely nothing.  

please help

Thanks for the inquiry.

Have you tried rebooting your wireless network and your device to see if that resolves the issue? We would also recommend trying to connect to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to set up your device and then reconnecting to your wireless network after.
